New Matches Added to Elimination Chamber 2015

In less than two weeks, WWE will be offering their latest PPV event with the return of Elimination Chamber. With only a few weeks to build the show, WWE has managed to actually create some intriguing matches for the event.

Here is the current card:

Seth Rollins –c- Vs. Dean Ambrose

John Cena –c- Vs. Current NXT Champion Kevin Owens

Ryback Vs. Sheamus Vs. Dolph Ziggler Vs. Rusev Vs. King Barrett Vs. R-Truth

The New Day –c- Vs. Tyson Kidd & Cesaro Vs. The Lucha Dragons Vs. Los Matidores Vs. The Ascension Vs. The Primetime Players

Kevin Owens Vs. John Cena is the real eye opening match on this event, and their interaction on Raw definitely set a good foundation for it. I am also intrigued by how the tag team chamber match is going to work. I assumed it would be 3 teams working in the chamber with one man in each pod. Having 12 guys crammed in there might be a little too much, but we’ll see how it goes. We are also getting a new Intercontinental Champion after Daniel Bryan’s forfeiture of the title earlier this month.

My biggest gripe here is that they pulled this show out of thin air just to give the new subscribers to the network getting a free month something big to latch onto and potentially keep as paying customers. It seems like the network is offered for free so often that I feel like a chump for paying for it. Also, it makes Payback feel even more pointless considering that show had almost no intrigue heading into it. In a perfect world, Payback would have never been scheduled to take place and we would have had a few more weeks to build up to this event which, as it turns out, has some interesting match ups on it.

Right now, I just feel kind of burned out. We just had Extreme Rules which quickly got followed up by a King of the Ring special two nights later and then we got Payback just a few short weeks later and now we have less than two weeks untilt he next big show. All the while we are getting 3 hour Raws every week. It is very easy to get worn out trying to follow all of that content.
